Absolutely stunning & rare antique aesthetic movement earthenware transferware platter by Copeland of England, circa 1884. This gorgeous “Kew” pattern was named after the Royal Botanical Gardens near London. It features a border of chrysanthemum flowers & geometric panels that surround a stylized arrangement with fencing and vines. A gorgeous display piece!
19” x 14.5”
Good antique condition! There is a small chip on the underside base which is hardly noticeable at all from the decorated surface. Some edge wear, small nicks and glaze crazing as expected for 140 years old. Please see all photos.
