Early-Mid 20th Century Bordallo Pinheiro Green Cabbage Leaf Crescent Shaped Side Salad Plates, Made in Portugal, 7.5"

This is a beautiful set of 4 majolica style green cabbage leaf crescent shaped side salad plates by Bordallo Pinheiro made in Portugal dating likely between the 1930's-1950's. These are amazingly detailed and are older vintage plates with the incised marks on the bottom. This impressed mark preceded the ink stamps which you see on newer Bordallo pieces. These are in very good vintage condition with a few tiny nicks/chips and one having a tiny hairline crack. These would be great to use in a tablescape, as trinket/candy dishes or catchall. I'm amazed that they show no signs of crazing given their age as we all know how prone to crazing these dishes can be. I think they would be especially lovely in an Easter table display or to hold veggies, fruit, olives, crackers, appetizers, etc. These older vintage plates are getting much harder to find.
