Incredible set of six mid 18th century faience polychrome plates in the Peonia pattern made by the Ferniani Manufactory ~ Faenze, Italy. Each plate is meticulously hand painted in rich, vibrant colors in the Imari palette. Very good condition with minor wear and flaking to glaze along the rims consistent with age and use. Three plates with minor chips on back. Rare to find a set this large in such good condition!
