Rare! 19thc French Haviland Limoges Elephant Tobacco Jar Humidor “The Warrior”

Wonderful and rare to find 19thc French porcelain humidor created by Edme Sampson of France for Haviland, Limoges. This model  titled “The Warrior” and is one of the earliest pieces made to bear the Haviland marking. Not many of these are to be known in existence at this time so this is an opportunity to now own a piece of Limoges history! This measures 7.5” x 6.5” and displays well however there is a small chip to the end of one corner of the lid and a shallow interior rim chip. Some gold loss as well. A wonderful piece and one I don’t feel you will come by again!
