Vintage Este Ceramiche Basket Weave Cake Pedestal, Made in Italy, 13.25”

This is a gorgeous cake pedestal made in Italy by Este Ceramiche. Este Ceramiche was established in the 18th century and is one of the oldest manufacturers of ceramics in Europe. They are also known for producing many pieces for Tiffany & Co. This piece has a beautiful basket weave design with ridged handles and a white glaze throughout. It would be perfect for displaying a cake or any special dessert, or used as a riser for display. It/s in excellent vintage condition and marks on the bottom date this piece to the 1970's.
