Vintage Set (4) Alfred Meakin 9” Luncheon Plates England - Excellent!

This is a set of 4 vintage Fair Winds 9” luncheon plates by Alfred Meakin of Staffordshire England. The brown transferware pattern on creamy white earthenware depicts historical scenes of Chinese export to America. The detailed borders feature the following: New York Harbor 1830, Wall Street Dock New York, U.S. Delaware Capturing Le Croyable & E. Plurius Unum, The Great Seal of the United States. These plates display beautifully, are highly detailed, and full of interesting history!

Dimensions: 9” diameter.

Condition: Good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. One plate has crazing in the glaze.
