Pair of Antique 19th Century Wm Davenport & Co Dinner Plates

Pair of 19th Century Wm Davenport & Co Dinner Plates. Produced in Longport (Stoke-on-Trent) prior to the factory closing in 1887 and the Company being acquired by Burleigh. Too old to name the pattern, but they are stamped and numbered on the underside. Beautiful Cream and Blue Floral with Gilded highlights.

These are heavy plates and show age (some browning and crazing) appropriate for their age.  The gilded detail is surprisingly in very good shape.  I love how the pattern extends far beyond the rim to the center of the plate.  They are 10 3/8" in diameter. Lovely stacked or on display!
