Gorgeous Vintage Brown Transferware Covered Dish

This is a gorgeous & rather unique footed covered dish with a brown transferware pattern called “Golden Rod”. The age & maker is unknown but is likely a late 19th or early 20th century piece. The pattern features birds & insects amongst flowers & goldenrod. The most perfect fall piece for use or display.

11” handle to handle, 6” tall with lid, 7.75” diameter opening. Excellent condition with just one small flea bite around the rim of the lid that does not detract. Age-related crazing in glaze.
