Antique Portieux Vallerysthal Blue Opaline Milk Glass Squirrel Candy Nut Dish, Made in France, 7"

This is an adorable squirrel blue opaline milk glass candy dish by Portieux Vallerysthal made in France circa early 1900's. This piece depicts a squirrel atop an acorn base and is made of the most gorgeous blue opaline in a robins egg blue color. This is a unique collector piece and would add a pretty pop of color wherever you put it. Use it as a candy or nut dish or just as a fun conversation piece, He will definitely make you smile and is a perfect addition for spring decor. This piece is in excellent antique condition for its age although it does have a small hairline crack on one side of the top edge but is hardly discernable. There's a few rough spots along the inside edge of the bottom piece if you run your finger along the edge but again nothing truly discernable.
