Vintage Set (10) Alfred Meakin “Fair Winds” 7” Bread Plates

This is a set of 10 vintage Fair Winds 7” bread & butter plates by Alfred Meakin of Staffordshire England. The brown transferware pattern features the U.S.S. Constitution. The highly detailed borders feature the following: New York Harbor 1830, Canton Port 1830, & E. Pluribus Unum, The Great Seal of the United States. These plates display beautifully, are highly detailed, and full of interesting history! 

7” diameter. Useful for bread, appetizers or dessert!

Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. One plate has a tiny flea bite in the glaze on the underside rim.
