An original photograph by Francois Kollar of Coco Chanel, (original print, first run, from the original negative). This photograph was used in the first marketing campaign that Coco ever allowed her image to be placed in. It was for the fabulous Chanel No 5 perfume ad, taken in her in Paris apartment at The Ritz, and published in 1937 in Harper’s Bazarre Magazine.

The back of this photo, has the original markings used as notes for the display of the photo in the ad and original stampings. Visible on the front are original markings by the editor in the bottom left corner. It’s framed in a stunning antique frame and is under museum glass for protection. In my opinion, a treasure for Coco-philes including yourself.

Should you want to change the frame, the museum glass can be reused as it’s quite pricy.

see last photo for disclaimer on one point if the frame doesn’t effect the value of this offering.
