Vintage Set (8) Alfred Meakin “Friendship of Salem” Fair Winds Dinner Plates - Excellent!

This is a fabulous set of 8 vintage Fair Winds dinner plates by Alfred Meakin of Staffordshire England. The brown transferware pattern on creamy white earthenware depicts “The Friendship of Salem” sailing ship. The highly detailed borders feature the following: New York Harbor 1830, Canton Port 1830, U.S. Delaware Capturing Le Croyable & E. Pluribus Unum, The Great Seal of the United States. These plates display beautifully, are highly detailed, and full of interesting history!

10.5” diameter.

Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or crazing.
