The name Lillian Grey comes from the great, great grandmother of Chelsie's husband, Mark. She was a women who embodied old-world traditions, loved a good party and enjoyed a finely set table. Lillian was English by decent and settled on the family farm in southwest Michigan. It is this farm that inspired Chelsie to create Lillian Grey, a playful mix of rustic interiors, English antiques and chinoiserie style details. Her in-laws still resides on the farm till this day.
Chelsie is a style maven with an eye for design and quality interiors. She is an antique enthusiast with a background in retail, sales, and store visuals, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Merchandising Management from the Academy of Design & Technology in downtown Chicago. Chelsie started her retail career at 15 and has since worked with a variety of retailers such as; Macy's, Amazon, Target & Nordstrom. Chelsie is the mother of one and currently resides in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago with her husband. She spends her summers enjoying Southwest Michigan and treasure hunting along the lake shore.
